The grant Combinatorial Representation Theory: Discovering the Interfaces of Algebra with Geometry and Topology has been awarded to Karin Baur University of Leeds and her co-researchers. This grant is awarded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC, United Kingdom).
LACIM, in particular through Thomas Brüstle (Sherbrooke) and Hugh Thomas (UQAM), is partner on this grant, whose total value is 2,554,972 £ over 5 years. This grant will allow for postdoctoral fellows and researchers of the participant institutions to travel for collaboration. Moreover, LACIM will cofinance a workshop on the subject of this grant.
